Vinyl Rips

Ah who could forget this 90’s alternative rock classic Siamese Dream by the Smashing Pumpkins? This record was in my constant rotation from when i was 13 years old at least until I turned 16. Not this vinyl, though. I owned it on CD and didn’t come across this double 12″ release of it until earlier this year while browsing at Long In The Tooth in Philly. I’m pretty sure this is a re-issue of some sort (probably to coincide with the Pumkins reunion). I was pretty psyched when I got this until I later discovered that there are copies available on “Pumpkin Orange” vinyl and a few other colors I think. Mine is just plain black. Oh well, the album is still just as good as ever. Plus, the gatefold cover now allows one to actually read the scribbled lyrics on those pictures… kinda… Produced by Butch Vig and Billy Corgan, Siamese Dream was released in 1993 on Virgin Records.
